The State of Montana, Natural Resource Damage Program, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for construction services. A more complete description of the services are provided in the Invitation to Bid and other Bidding Documents found in the Buyer Attachments. Bids submitted in response to this IFB must comply with the instructions and procedures presented in the Bid Documents. Mountain Time on August 12, 2022. Be sure to review and submit your response upon completion. The contractor must complete all work prior to October 30, 2022. The successful contractor will complete work at 6 sites along Upper Spotted Dog Creek. Site 1 work includes stabilization of an active head cut. Site 2 work includes construction of a main channel plug and floodplain entrance channel, 3 low profile channel plugs, and 1 beaver habitat structure. Site 3 work includes reinforcement of a previously constructed main channel plug and 2 low profile channel plugs. Site 4 work includes raising 100 feet of channel bed and constructing 120 feet of woody brush matrix streambank treatment. Site 5 work includes constructing 15 beaver habitat structures and approximately 100 feet of floodplain connector channels. Site 6 work includes repairing localized areas of floodplain erosion in a previously constructed project phase.
