IN GENERAL, WORK CONSISTS OF CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE STORY RESTROOM BUILDING TO SERVE AN EXISTING SOCCER/BASEBALL FIELD x WORK INCLUDES CONSTRUCTION OF A LOAD BEARING CMU STRUCTURE, WOOD FRAMED ROOF STRUCTURE WITH 5V METAL ROOF, REINFORCED CONCRETE TURN DOWN SLAB ON GRADE x PLUMBING WORK INCLUDES CONNECTION TO SITE UTILITES, STUBBING UP WASTE WATER CONNECTION THROUGH SLAB, DOMESTIC WATER CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION OF RESTROOM PLUMBING FIXTURES x ELECTRICAL WORK INCLUDES INSTALLTION OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING AND EXIT SIGNS, LED LIGHT FIXTURES AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR POWERED EXHAUST FANS. WORK INCLUDES CONNECTING TO POWER AT THE SITE x GRUBBING, ROUGH GRADING AND FINAL GRADING ALONG WITH COMPACTION OF SOILS AND SOILS TESTING ARE INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF WORK x THE BUILDING WILL NOT BE PROVIDED WITH A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM x SITE WORK INCLUDES CONNECTION TO EXISTING SITE UTILITIES The Work to be bid is to provide two (2) turn-key single-story public restroom facilities. The locations for construction are: 1) Bruce Edgerly Park is located in Port Royal, South Carolina, bounded by 16 th Street on the north, Old Shell Point on the east, 14 th Street on the south, and C.A.P.A.-owned property on the west. The Work to be bid will be constructed on the 16 th Street portion, between C.A.P.A. and the existing baseball/softball field backstop; and 2) Old Burton Wells Park is located in Beaufort at 5 Middleton Recreation Drive where the work to be bid will be constructed on the site of the current bathroom, to be demolished.
