Provide all necessary materials, labor and equipment to complete the removal and installation of new asphalt shingled roof and skylights on the Ultra-Violet building roof according to the following scope • Remove and dispose of existing asphalt roof system to bare plywood. • Re-fasten existing plywood or other roofing boards where needed. • Remove existing skylights and flashing. • Protect building interior equipment from dust and debris. • Replace all vent pipe boots. • Replace (4) skylights and flashing Velux, or equal, to fit existing opening. • Remove all rake and facia boards. Save existing aluminum gutters. • Install new AZEK, or equal, PVC 1x8 rake and facia boards with 1 3/4 shadow board, screwed and plugged. • Apply (2) courses of ice dam protection at roof eaves. • Install white 8 aluminum drip edge at roof eaves. • Cover remaining roof with roofing underlayment, Grace Tri-Flex XT, or equal. • Apply Starter Strip Shingles. • Apply a GAF Timberline Lifetime HD asphalt shingle to roof, “or equal”. • Install ridge vent and ridge cap shingles. • All roofing materials and skylights must be installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recommendations. • Roof color to be Fox Hollow Grey, or equal. Awarded contractor must provide roof material color samples for approval prior to installation. • Contractor shall keep work area neat at the end of each work day and contained throughout the duration of the job. • Contractor will not be allowed to use the bathroom facilities within the facilities and must furnish a portable toilet if needed.
