Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, Annual Wage Order No. 28, as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing work under any contract over $75,000. Cape Girardeau County notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The County of Cape Girardeau reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities or irregularities.
