Phase IV of the Transportation Centre expansion project includes the construction of an additional structure designed for parking and maintenance of different types of buses. The spaces for parking, traffic, refueling, storage and maintenance of the buses will be optimized and will allow to use the land to its full potential. As a result of the project implementation all owner's bus maintenance and technical service units and administrative offices will be located in one place. The proposed structure will house 145 additional buses with charging station for electric buses and ten service bays with vehicle hoists, two service bays the tire maintenance and one bay for the repair of vehicle electronic systems, new mechanical, electrical and computer rooms and an electronics workshop. The scope of the project also includes alterations, upgrades and redevelopment of the existing premises areas. Value of the construction program amounts to almost $280 million. TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services to perform monitoring services in mechanical and electrical engineering has been awarded following request for proposals # 2022-P-39.
