The Board of City Commissioners of the City of Bismarck will receive sealed bids for the construction of asphaltic concrete and related items in Street Improvement District Number Five Hundred Sixty-Eight (568). The contractor shall include a copy of his license or renewal thereof enclosed in the required bid bond envelope as required pursuant to Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code, as amended. The basis of award shall be the lowest and best total bid for the unit. Bidders shall balance their bids accordingly. Bids shall be made on the basis of cash payment for the work to be done. Each bid shall be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidders bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid as required by Section 48-01.2, North Dakota Century Code, as amended, and executed as provided by law.
