Inc, awarded amount is $2,323,137.50.** The Project includes the following Work: Milling and repaving of various streets within the City of Corning limits., adjustment to top of grates on manholes and or drainage inlets, miscellaneous water valve adjustments, and restriping of parking stalls and centerline. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the City of Corning DPW Office at 381 East Market Street, Corning, NY 14830. Potential bidders are to be aware that alternate bidding is being used on this project. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated Issuing Office. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45-days after the actual bid opening thereof, in accordance with the New York State General Municipal Law, Section 105. The bidders should not include in their bid Sales and Compensating Use Taxes on the cost of the materials which are to be incorporated in the Project and which are to be separately sold by the Bidder to the municipality prior to incorporation into the Project. In accordance with New York State General Municipal Law, Section 103, the City reserves the right to waive any informalities in, or to reject any or all bids.
