SUMMARY OF THE WORK: .1 The owner will obtain the necessary building permits from the Town of Kentville and Municipality of Kings. .2 Install construction fence and make safe the work site, remove and dispose existing asphalt shingles and any underlayment. .3 Inspect roof structure and inform owner of any structural issues. .4 Install roof felt, ice and water shield and all other components necessary to comply with shingle manufacturer's warranty. .5 Install heavyweight, laminated shingle composed of dimensionally stable non-woven glass fiber mat, thoroughly impregnated with stabilized waterproofing bitumen compliant with spec below. .6 Install new ridge vent. .7 Clear site of all debris and remove safety barriers.
