sealed proposals will be received by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana in the office of Purchasing in the Municipal Building for said City for Richmond Park Board for furnishing the following in accordance with specifications on file in the office of Purchasing in the Municipal Building, Richmond, Indiana. Richmond Municipal Airport - Parking Lot Paving Project All proposals shall be properly and completely executed on Form No. 96 as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts of the State of Indiana. All proposals submitted shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bidder's Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check made payable to the City of Richmond, Indiana in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. If the bidder is from out-of-state, the Bidder's Bond must be secured by a Surety who is admitted to do business in Indiana. The successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond prior to commencing work. Checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned on award of the proposal. All proposals should be placed in a sealed envelope marked "Confidential-Bid Proposal Airport Parking Lot Paving Project" on outside of envelope. The City of Richmond is not responsible and/or liable for any bid specifications and/or plans not obtained directly from the City of Richmond. Bidder will be required to comply with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1983.
