Renovation of a detention facility in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Replace Steam Lines and Traps Description: Work to include but not be limited to: Remove existing steam lines, traps and valves. Replace with new steam lines, traps and valves. The Project will include the Discipline(s) of: Mechanical and Electrical. Bidders Should Act Promptly and Submit All Questions in Writing to David W. Goulet, Fax 603/271-3515, E-mail David.goulet@das.nh.gov in Accordance With "explanation to Bidders". Security Clearances Are Required for Each Person Attending the Pre-bid Conference. Background Check Form Attached to Specification Section 000250 Must Be Submitted to the Department of Corrections Jason.m.newton@doc.nh.goyv and Heidi.h.laramie@doc.nh.gov for Each Person Attending at Least 3 Days Prior to Walkthrough. Approval is Not Guaranteed. Those Not Approved Will Not Be Allowed to Enter the Secure Facility. Approved Persons Will Be Notified. No Notification Indicates No Approval. A bid bond shall be submitted electronically at the time of bid in the amount listed below, payable to, 3 Treasurer, State of New Hampshire, as security for the execution of the contract. e All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, before obtaining plans and specifications, must file with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids, a statement showing their qualifications. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified. Companies, Corporations or Trade Names, Except Sole Proprietorships Must Be Registered With the Secretary of E State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in Order to Do Business With the State of New Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Governor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date. Per section 00204.18.2, Low Bidder has 20 days after notice of award to submit signed Contract, Certificate of Insurance, and Disadvantage Business Enterprise forms, if required. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security at Bid and must furnish a 100% payment and performance security prior to execution of contract.
