Site work and paving for a road / highway in Drummond, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for completing the following road construction project: The contractor will be required to provide asphalt paving for approximately 0.87 miles of Old Highway 63 Road in the Town of Drummond. Base Preparation: The contractor will provide 1 1/4 inch gravel base aggregate dense. The aggregate must be spread along the entire length of the project to a depth of 4 inches. Asphalt Paving: The contractor will provide hot mix asphalt for the paving. The asphalt will be spread 20 feet wide along the entire length of the project to a compacted thickness of 2 inches. Shouldering: A 2 foot wide shoulder will need to be constructed and fully compacted. Final Town Board approval will be made that evening at the town board meeting at 6:30 pm.
