Oconee County is seeking sealed bids for construction services for the expansion of the existing parking area at the Oconee County Regional Airport. Oconee County is seeking sealed bids for construction services for the expansion of the existing parking area at the Oconee County Regional Airport. The base bid will be for all work associated with the construction of the parking area expansion. This work will include, but not limited to, Demolition, Site Preparation, Earthwork, Soil Erosion Control, Aggregate Base Course, Rip-Rap, Asphaltic Concreted Binder / Surface Courses (SC), Traffic Striping, Storm Drainage, Grassing and Site Concrete. This project will be running simultaneously with another project, Runway Rehabilitation, at the Airport. The estimated project schedule for the Runway Rehabilitation Project is August 17, 2022 – December 9, 2022. There will be periods that the Airport will be closed during this project and the County requests the Parking Expansion project to be completed during the time the Airport is closed. The actual schedule will be determined with the Awarded Contractor.
