*This project has been postponed indefinitely* MOON TOWERS BATHROOM MODIFICATIONS Knox County Housing Authority Galesburg, Illinois Proposals are desired for total construction for the modification of three dwelling unit bathrooms as described in the Specification and Drawing documents that will be available to contractors starting on August 2, 2022, by accessing the website. This solicitation is listed under the following "Main Service Category" of "Construction and Rehabilitation Services". Proposals shall be submitted to the office of Alliance Architecture via mail, email (info@alliarch.com) or hand delivered on the bidder's letterhead on or before the date and time established above. PRE-BID SITE VISIT/ACCESSIBILITY By submitting a proposal, bidders confirm that they have visited the site to familiarize themselves with the scope of work and existing conditions. Each bidder shall make a careful examination of the Plans and Specifications, visit the site of the proposed construction and become acquainted with all the conditions before submitting a proposal. Bidder will be held responsible for any and all errors in their proposal resulting from a failure to make such examination. No "Request for Extras" will be entertained as a result of the bidder failing to examine the Plans and Specifications and inspecting the sites. Any discrepancies between actual field conditions and work specified in the Contract Documents shall be brought to the written attention of the Architect prior to bidding. The Contractor shall be responsible to verify all conditions and dimensions and be responsible for this work conforming to existing conditions. PROPOSAL FORM Proposals shall be submitted using the attached proposal form on proposer's letterhead. The Knox County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to award the contract to the lowest, responsible and most responsive offerer and to waive any formalities or irregularities in the proposals received. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the proposals without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Knox County Housing Authority reserves the right to award a contract in the best interest of the Housing Authority.
