Site work and paving for a road / highway in Creve Coeur, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received by the VILLAGE OF CREVE COEUR hereinafter known as the Owner, for the WESLEY ROAD PAVEMENT REHABILITATION project. All bidders are hereby advised that they must be able to submit, if requested by the Owner, an Illinois Department of Transportation prequalification statement and/or Capital Development Board Certificate of Eligibility for this project prior to opening bids. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to the Village of Creve Coeur, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statues, Chapter 48, Section 395S - 1-12).
