Child Development Center Flooring and Cove Base Purchase and Install The scope of work for this project is to perform flooring/cove base replacement at the Child Development Center located at 1742 Coonskin Drive, Charleston. WV 25311. The requirements for this project are as follows: Flooring/ Cove base replacement work to be performed in the Child Development Center: 1. Contractor is responsible for all field verify measurements of existing areas to receive new flooring. 2. Removal of all roll vinyl floor coverings in classrooms as well as the ceramic tile in classrooms child changing areas. Remove all VCT (Vinyl Composite Tile) in hallways and break areas and carpet in offices and dispose of debris from area(s) to be resurfaced. 3. Patch and repair sub- floor as needed for level installation of LVT(Luxury Vinyl Tile). 4. Common areas such as classrooms, offices, hallways, break rooms, all areas are to receive Mohawk Living Local Series LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) or equal, glue down type 6'' x 48'' vinyl plank, overall gauge 2.5 mm, wear layer 20 mil 90.5mm0, finish M-force enhanced urethane with commercial limited 10-year warranty. Color selection made by owner. (Specification sheet attached-Exhibit D) 5. Contractor to attach flooring using Henry 695 High RH (relative humidity) LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) flooring adhesive or equal. (Specifications attached- Exhibit D) 6. Contractor to provide and install Tarkett Traditional Wall Base, cove base to be vinyl wall base with toe 4'' x 120' coil lengths, or equal. (See attached specifications-Exhibit E). 7. Contractor to attach cove base using, S-725 wall base adhesive or equal, (see attached specifications-Exhibit E). 8. Contractor is responsible for all cleanup of construction debris daily. 9. ontractor is responsible to dispose of excess materials offsite.
