The intention of the Museum is to select the Bidder with the lowest compliant Bid who may then be invited to enter into a Contract with the Museum. The selected Contractor will be required to deliver the Work and Services described in the procurement documents including, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the complete replacement of the existing Chiller 231 and all associated electrical and mechanical components located at the Canadian Museum of History (CMH) in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. All individuals attending the site visit must bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as: safety shoes/boots, safety vests, hard hats, safety glasses. Individuals without the appropriate PPE will not be permitted to access the site. Bidders are expected to carefully examine the site, fully inform themselves of the existing conditions and limitations and include in their Bid all costs required to meet the terms of the Contract. It is anticipated to provide the Deliverables and complete the work by December 30, 2025 and provide an all-inclusive maintenance contract that shall commence one year after the construction end for a period of 10 consecutive years.
