Where a pole base is present the CONTRACTOR will set a new pole, mast arm, fixture, wiring, and fuse holders so streetlight is fully operational. The CONTRACTOR will also pour a concrete cap around the pole base so it is flush with the sidewalk. When the pole to be replaced is a direct burial pole the CONTRACTOR will dig and pour a new concrete base following the City Street Lighting Specifications. The CONTRACTOR will set the new pole after waiting 3 days or 72 hours. The CONTRACTOR will then follow the guidelines outlined for replacing a pole as previously stated. All poles must be replaced within 10 working days of notification by the City. PLEASE NOTE: Exceptions may be granted due to national supply chain delays and shortages.
