The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, University of Massachusetts Boston, will receive sealed bids for the UMBHarborwalk Repairs and New Fox Point Pedestrian Ramp Scope: The project includes repairs and resurfacing of theexisting Harborwalk pedestrian pathway, installation of aconcrete edge treatment and repairs to the bollard andchain barrier A 5% bid deposit that is no less than of the bid amountmust accompany all bids. The bid deposit may be in theform of a certified, treasurer's or cashier check; or bid bondfrom a licensed surety M.G.L. c. 149, 44B(2). The success- ful bidder must furnish a payment bond each for 50% ofthe contract price. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30/39M, and to the minimumwage rate as required by the M.G.L. c. 149, 26 to 27H in- clusive.
