Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Laval, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Road infrastructure upgrades and improvement for the implementation of a structuring mode of public transit of the rapid service by bus in the axis of Notre-Dame and de la Concorde boulevards in Laval. The scope of the project includes road construction, repairs and paving work, sewer and water mains replacement, moving and construction. Note. The value of the project is evaluated as high as $43 million. TIMELINE: The project is a component of the Metropolitan Regional Transportation Authority's (ARTM) strategic development plan for the period 2025-2034 and aims to increase the use of public and active transportation. An opportunity file for the implementation of a structuring mode of collective transport such as rapid bus service (SRB) in the axis of Notre-Dame and de la Concorde boulevards in Laval has been completed by the awarded professional consultant. Scope of work and timelines of the project development are being finalized. Note. This public transit project relating to a rapid bus service is included in the Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat list of major projects under the number 340 with a status "under study".
