SME Project Number: 088114.00 This Bid Package is for the civil and site work scope at the new 160,000 sq. ft. KRESA CTE Center being constructed on several parcels bounded by I-94, Sprinkle, & Vanrick. Mass grading will begin in mid-September 2022 and final grading will complete in Summer of 2024. If contractors are bidding more than one bid package, the bids must be submitted in separate envelopes. Bids received after specified date and time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened. Bids will be accepted as single "Bid Packages", or "Combination Bid Packages" as determined to be in the Owner's best interest. Detailed information to be issued in a Clarification. Bid bond or certified check of not less than 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with bid and made payable to Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency. This is not a prevailing wage project Submission cut-off date is August 15, 2022, 3:00 PM. A fillable RFI form is located on the CSM Group plan room. Typed RFIs are to be submitted to andrea.hemps@csmgroup.com. All proposals shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship (or lack of a relationship) that exists between the owner or any employee of the bidder and any member of the Board of Education of the Kalamazoo RESA or the Superintendent of the School District. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include a sworn and notarized disclosure statement. Additionally, each bid shall be accompanied by a disclosure statement indicating that they have not been doing business with companies having ties with the country of Iran in accordance with the Iran Sanctions Act. The base bid shall be a lump sum amount, for the work as set forth in the bid documents. Cost for Payment and Performance Bonds to be submitted as an alternate.
