The purpose of this project is to install the specified light fixture at the existing inmate cell Pods E, G, HR, and Female Medical MLA area for the Atlantic County Justice Facility Building, located at 5060 Atlantic Avenue in Mays Landing, New Jersey. The BASE BID is for a Lump Sum Proposal to provide all materials and work indicated on the Drawings and in this bid package. If a bid security is required with the bid, the bidder must upload a copy of the certified check, cashier check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the County of Atlantic. The original document must be received by the County of Atlantic Purchasing Office no later than 5 business days after the close of bids. The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The surety on such bond or bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company authorized to issue performance bonds in the State of New Jersey. The Substantial Completion Date shall be one hundred and fifty (150) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project. The Final Completion Date shall be one hundred and eighty (180) days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed for the Base Bid project. The County reserves the right to reject all bids, when the County determines that rejection of all bids is advisable to the extent that rejection of all bids is permitted under the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law.
