Sealed Bids for the construction of the Kingsford Heights Pavement Improvement Project (2022- 2 Community Crossings Matching Grant) will be received, by the Town, at the Kingsford Heights Town Hall (504 Grayton Road, Kingsford Heights, IN 46346) Bids will be reviewed by the Engineer and the successful low bid Contractor will be awarded the work promptly. The Town intends to enter into an agreement with the contractor prior to October 15, 2022. Project consists of milling, resurfacing, and related items on various streets within the Town of Kingsford Heights, IN. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents are available electronically by email at no cost; as a portable document format (PDF) file. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office either via in-person pick-up or via mail, upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The non-refundable cost of printed Bidding Documents is $75.00 per set, payable to AME Consulting. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders must obtain their Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office to be included on the plan holders list; failure to do so may be considered non-responsive. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
