The VA Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services seeks to establish a firm fixed price contract with one qualified vendor capable of providing complete and comprehensive on-site janitorial services at the VA Department for Aging and Rehabilitative Services Office located at 19006 Crossroad Parkway, Culpeper, VA 22701. Services shall commence September 1, 2022. Services shall be in accordance with the Scope of Services below. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, cleaning supplies, as necessary, to provide janitorial services to 3,286 square feet of office space. The site encompasses 11 offices, 1 Conference Room, 3 restrooms and 1 kitchen/breakroom. The purchasing agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may also be terminated by the contractor, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation. This contract may be renewed by the Commonwealth for four (4) successive one (1) year periods under the terms and conditions of the original contract except as stated in A. and B. below. Price increases may be negotiated only at the time of renewal. Written notice of the Commonwealth's intention to renew shall be given approximately 90 days prior to the expiration date of each contract period. The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award.
