The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all concrete, steel, appurtenances, tools, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary to install complete in place the major work noted below in addition to other items identified in this contract. A. Approximately one thousand two hundred sixty (1,260) linear feet of 30-inch wastewater pipe by open cut. B. Approximately three hundred forty (340) linear feet of 30-inch wastewater pipe by bore. C. Approximately thirty (30) linear feet of 12-inch wastewater pipe by open cut. D. Approximately one hundred seventy (170) linear feet of 12-inch wastewater pipe by bore. E. Eight (8) new wastewater manholes. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 8/22/2022 05:00:00 PM (CT) The above listed work together with all associated appurtenances and other incidiential items to complete this project will be installed along the south side of Cottonwood Branch from the east side of MacArthur Boulevard to approximately one thousand four hundred fifty (1,450) feet west of MacArthur Boulevard in the City of Irving. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to perform a site visit. The City is currently acquiring permanent and temporary construction easements that are needed to complete the work associated with this project. Pending the sequence of completion for said acquisitions, the Contractor may receive a partial and/or delayed notice to proceed with construction. The City shall have the authority to specify the sequence of construction for all work performed on this project and this shall be considered a non-pay item. Unless approved in writing by the Engineer, the Contractor shall provide and maintain access to all commercial and/or residential drives, driveways and cross streets during construction at all times and this shall be considered a non-pay item. The City will not reimburse the Contractor for any water used to perform the work as required in this contract. The Contractor shall review and understand the requirements for solid waste disposal (Section 01516) in the City of Irving.
