EllisDon is the Construction Manager for the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (TWRC) Lake Shore Boulevard East: Don River Bridge and Public Realm Project. EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit proposals for the Laboratory and Testing Services (Roads & Bridges) package: All supervision, labour, material, and equipment required to complete Laboratory Testing and Services (Roads and Bridges) works as outlined in, but not limited to: • Pre-production Reviews and Testing QA • Asphalt Batch Testing QA • Asphalt Sampling and Testing QA • Concrete Field Sampling and Testing QA – air, slump, temperature, cylinders • Concrete Mix Design Review QA • Asphalt Mix Design Review QA • Concrete Sample Testing QA • Granular Sampling at source, Testing for OPSS compliance and Placement QA • Common Fill Sampling, Testing and Placement QA • Agricultural Planting Soil, Testing and Placement QA • Field Nuclear Density Testing QA – compaction testing of prepared subgrade, Granular B, Granular A and hot mix asphalt placement • Structural Steel Fabrication and Field Inspection and Testing QA • Waterproofing Membrane Inspection QA • Steel Coating Inspection QA • Bridge Bearing Inspections of Fabrications and Testing of Elastomeric Pads QA • Bridge Expansion Joints QA • Provide services to accept or reject hauling trucks with reclamation fill material Where the anticipated contract value is greater than $250,000, the Proponent will be required to have the ability to bond with an established surety company.
