**As of November 4, 2024 project has not been awarded , Anticipated award date is on December 3, 2024.** License Requirements Class "A" Bid Valid 90 Calendar Days Liquidated Damages $6,700 per calendar day Start/Delivery Date Ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued Project Duration 180 working days Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 10/02/2024 11:00 AM (PDT) Bid Bond 10.00% Payment Bond 100.00% Performance Bond 100.00% The work to be performed under this contract consists of construction of new curb, gutter, cross-gutter, curb ramp, sidewalk, signing and striping, new street lighting, new landscaping and irrigation, existing repair to landscaping and irrigation systems, miscellaneous utility adjustments, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the improvements as described in the Plans and Specifications to construct curb extensions and bikeway enhancements along Fern Avenue from Montezuma Street to Phillips Street, Phillips Street from Vine Avenue to Fern Avenue, Vine Avenue from Phillips Street, and B Street from Vine Avenue to Sultana Avenue. Additionally, the work to be performed under this contract includes slurry seal, micro-milling, and pavement rehabilitation/reconstruction within the limits noted above. Lastly, the project includes the installation of reinforced concrete storm drain pipe of sizes varying from 18-inch to 30-inch including trench repair, construction of catch basins and drop inlet structures, local depressions, manholes, junction structures, concrete collars, installation of connector pipe screens (CPS), construction of a water service with meter boxes and trench repair, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the storm drain improvements as described in the Plans and Specifications. Upon selection and notification of award, contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each for 100% of the total bid amount. Cash, cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond. A personal or company check will not be accepted. This is a State Prevailing Wage Project
