Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
The scope includes but is not limited to: - The Contractor shall perform work in accordance with CAN/CSA - Z317.13-17 Infection Control during Construction, Renovation, and Maintenance of Health Care Facilities - Prepare work area with proper hoarding to contain dust. Use sticky walk-off mats where needed to prevent dust and debris from tracking through hallways as required by Infection Control standard CSA-Z317 - Remove and dispose of the existing handrails. - Supply and install new handrails in corridors and common areas. Ensure installed handrails meet applicable Code requirements. - Product to be sculpted vinyl, equal to or better than Belroc 1000 Series. See Appendix H for the preferred handrail style.
