This is an "Invitation for Bids" Project Title: Building 730 Interior Demolition A bid guarantee is required (see clause at FAR 52.228-1). All bid bonds must be originals; photocopies w ill not be accepted. Payment bonds are required (see clause at FAR 52.228-15 DEV). This is a 100% competitive set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Ow ned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under NAICS 238910 w ith a small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is betw een $250,000 and $500,000. The aw ardee of this contract w ill be required to provide a Superintendent at all times w ork is being performed on the project (see clause at FAR 52.236-6). The Superintendent is considered a key position. This position SHALL NOT be subcontracted and must w ork directly for the prime contractor. The Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort Bliss, TX has a new requirement for Building 730, Interior Demolition at Fort Bliss, TX. The interior of Building 730 will be demolished in preparation for renovation/repair of facility. The demolition will consist of all mechanical/architectural/electrical to include systems and appurtenances that are no longer useable. 2. Instructions to Bidders: 2.1. You are invited to submit a bid in response to our Invitation for Bids (IFB) W911SG22B0007 Building 730 Interior Demolition, at 1000 AM MST 21 Sep 2022 at Ft. Bliss, TX, Bldg 111 Rm 220. 2.2. As a result of this solicitation, the Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price. 3. NOTICE OF PRE-BID CONFERENCE AND SITE VISIT: 3.1. A Pre-bid conference will be conducted on29 Aug 2022 at 1000 AM MST for the purposes of briefing the bid requirements and answering questions regarding this solicitation. The conference will be held at the parking lot of BLDG 111 Fort Bliss, TX. The site visit will be held following the conference. Site visit is limited to 2 attendees per company.
