Renovation of an educational facility in Acworth, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: Removal of Built-Up Roofing (BUR) membranes, roofing insulation, and roofing flashings down to the structural deck; provision of replacement insulated modified bitumen roofing system (deck board, vapor barrier, insulation, tapered insulation, cover board, and multiple ply modified bitumen roofing system) and flashings. Removal of EPDM roofing systems, roofing insulation, and flashings down to the structural deck; provision of replacement roofing system per above. Removal of fluid applied roofing at exterior canopies; provision of replacement fluid applied fleece reinforced roofing system. Perform all associated work such as disconnection, removal, reinstallation, and reconnection of existing rooftop mechanical units and skylights on replacement roof rails/curbs so as to achieve minimum 8 inch high base flashing. Work shall be in compliance with all applicable codes. All low slope roofing systems shall be removed and replaced. Refer to the drawings and project manual (specifications) for more information.
