Renovation of a mixed-use development in Baltimore, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
The purpose of this Request for Quote is to have a contractor remove the existing ceiling tiles, paint the ceiling tile grids, and allow to dry completely and install new ceiling tiles. Late bids will not be accepted, Faxed/Mailed/Emailed bids will not be accepted The removal and replacement of ceiling tiles and painting of ceiling tile grids. The contractor will provide all materials, tools, and personnel to complete the work. The contractor is responsible for complying with all regulations necessary to complete the work. All work must meet current code requirements. The contract will remove and replace approximately 6600 S.F. of 2 x 4 ceiling tiles. The contractor will be responsible for preparing their own calculations. The tile design should be the following (or equivalent): o Armstrong 933 Random Textured 2 x 4 lay-in. o Mineral fiber white tile with a non-directional, fissured design. o Sound blocking/noise reduction. o USG fire code rated commercial tiles.
