Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The existing aerodrome lighting system dates back to the 1970s, and has remained largely unchanged since original installation. The system has reached the end of it service life and requires replacement in accordance with Transport Canada's TP312 Aerodrome Standards and Recommended Practices. The project involves the removal of existing installations and cabling, and the installation of new runway edge lights, end lights, threshold lights, wing bar light, taxiway edge lighting, Aircraft Radio Control of Aerodrome Lighting (ARCAL) system, illuminated wind direction indicators, illuminated runway exit signs, retroreflective taxiway and apron edge markers, a new field electrical centre and illuminated mandatory instruction signs.
