Site work for a water / sewer project in La Jara, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of sludge removal from the Town of La Jaras two (five acre) sewage treatment lagoons. This work includes all permitting, testing, sludge removal and spreading as fertilizer on designated nearby agricultural fields. The Project has an expected completion date of December 15, 2023. Bidding documents may be examined at the La Jara Town Hall, 221 Broadway Ave., La Jara, Co. Bidding documents may be obtained in electronic PDF format at no cost, upon request from the Town Manager. This project is funded through the State Revolving Fund WPCRF program and all SRF bidding requirements will apply. Awarding of the contract may be delayed to coincide with loan execution. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the bidding documents. The successful bidder will be the one whose product is judged to best serve the interests of the Town of La Jara when price, product, quality, experience, and delivery are considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, and to waive any minor technicalities.
