The work to be performed generally includes: The stripping, preparation and installation of asphalt roofing shingles on the Vail Golf Maintenance roof. Bids shall be submitted on a lump sum basis. The award may be on the basis of the base bid. All interested parties are invited to attend. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid. Copies of the Drawings and Project Specifications are also on file and may be examined at the Vail Recreation District Administrative office address during normal working hours beginning Friday August 5th, 2022 . Each Bidder shall file with his Bid a cashier s check, or a Bid Bond, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment and Warranty Bond guaranteeing faithful performance. No Bids may be withdrawn within a period of sixty (60) days after the date Bids are opened. Located at 1278 Vail Valley Drive the Vail Golf Maintenance building, we are requesting a proposal to replace the asphalt shingles. This project general consists of: the removal and storage of gutters and heat tape, removal of existing roofing shingles, replacement of damaged or rotted underlayment, installation of ice and water shield, properly sealing all roof penetrations, installation of roofing shingles, re-installation of gutters and heat tape and punch list work.
