Install crosswalk system at Riverside Drive and Piney Forest Road intersection. Work includes sidewalk, handicap ramps, pavement markings, pedestrian signals, signage. Revenue Application submitted to VDOT in October 2019 for FY21 funding. Funding was approved but delayed to FY23. This project is in included in the City of Danville FY 2024 - 2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of October 17, 2023, funding is for FY2024-2025, with preliminary engineering starting in 2024 and construction in 2024 with completion by 6/30/2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
