The Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) is soliciting bids from general contractors, construction managers and other businesses that meet the qualifications set forth herein for the purpose of contracting to perform complete removal and replacement roofing systems at Buildings 509 - Fire Station #2 and Building 425 - SkyWest Hangar at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). (The Contracts resulting from this solicitation are subject to Airport Authority Prevailing Wages Requirements.) This RFB, all attachments (except Attachment G) and addenda are available via the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN) website at which is also where all bids must be uploaded and submitted through. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to view, obtain or download all Addenda issued by the Wayne County Airport Authority (Airport Authority) for this RFB. The Bidder is required to submit a refundable Bid Guarantee (an AIA 310 Bond from a surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Michigan or cashiers check) in the amount of 5% of the Bidders total potential value of the Base Bid, should be made payable to the Wayne County Airport Authority. The Bidder must submit photocopy of the Bid Guarantee, Bond, or cashiers check with the Bid in the electronic response to this RFB. This photocopy must be of sufficient resolution to show a valid stamp and seal.
