No definite date for rebid** This project generally consists of repair and replacement of facade features at the City Hall building, located at 801 West Avenue, NW, Lenoir North Carolina. It includes repair and refurbishing of first floor windows, replacement of most windows on the second, third, and fourth levels, and stucco repair on all faces of the building, all in accordance with the "Design Proposal." Additionally, repair of the clock tower, located at the same address, is also included in the facade renovation, also in accordance with the "Design Proposal." The anticipated total dollar value of this contract is below the threshold ($500,000) that requires a bid security. Therefore, no bid bond, or other form of bid security, will be required (North Carolina General Statute 143-129). **If the contract is awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and the total dollar value of the contract exceeds this threshold, performance and payment bonds in the amountof 100% of the contract value will be required for any contractor or subcontractor with contract values exceeding $50,000.00 (North Carolina General Statute 44A-26).** The anticipated total dollar value of this contract is below the threshold that requires performance and payment securities. Therefore, performance and payment bonds will not be required. Bids must be on standard forms furnished by the City of Lenoir. The City of Lenoir reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the timely completion of all work contained in the contract scope. The City of Lenoir will be receiving bids for the project titled City Hall & Clock Tower - Facade Repair & Renovation.
