The successful contractor shall provide fire alarm inspections and maintenance services to the Township of Edison, and shall be responsible for maintaining fire alarm and protection systems in proper working order, inspecting/recharging fire extinguishers, and repairing/replacing detectors and pull down stations in accordance with the specifications or Township approved equivalent. The contract shall include the furnishing of all labor and equipment necessary to properly inspect, maintain, and when required, repair any or all components of the system(s). Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
