The selected Consultancy will develop a cost benefit analysis of various upgrade options considering the capacity of downstream elements (among other things)and work with the Director to select the optimal feasible Design option supported by available funds. After meeting all funding requirements for this type of work, the Consultancy will procure a Contractor and administer the construction of this upgrade. The County of Davie owns and operates a wastewater pumping station at 2489 US 158, Mocksville, NC 27028. It is physically located on the Northeast side of Son Shine Way at its intersection with US 158 on Dutchmans Creek East of Mocksville. The station was designed in 1991 to deliver 210 gpm at 164ft TDH and equipped with two 34 hp submersible pumps in a 10' diameter wetwell approximately 29' deep. The station is served by a 6" diameter forcemain to a gravity line on the South side of US 158 that is tributary to Mocksville's Elisha Creek Interceptor. The station is operating near capacity and development pressures along Farmington Road in the vicinity of its intersection with I-40 have increased dramatically. All responses shall be made by email to Johnny Lambert, Davie County Public Utilities Director at jlambert@daviecountync.gov and shall consist of no more than 20 pages of 8"X11" format paper when printed. Questions shall be posed in writing by email and will be received until 8/10/221 at 5:00 pm. The final clarification or addendum will be issued no later than 8/12/22 at 5:00 pm. All submissions must be compliant with the NC "Mini Brooks Act". The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
