The ADA improvements will require a combination of removing existing concrete, new concrete placement, and detectable warning surface installation to meet ADA requirements. Traffic control barriers will be necessary to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from entering the work zones. Estimated cost: $60,000 The work involves replacement of approximately 2,263 L.F. of 6 inch fiberglass pipe with 8-inch (nominal size) DR7 IPS polyethylene pipe using pipe bursting method. Open trenching method of construction is necessary at bends, pits, and placement of new vaults. This Project also includes installation of access and air vacuum valuts, locating wire, locate stations, and other related items.The project is located in the City of Garden City, Idaho between 5373 N. Alworth St., and the intersection of Glenwood St., and Chinden Blvd. The Project runs in Alworth St., and then crosses Ladybird Park through Expo Idaho property. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids. All parts or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete installation shall be included in the bid and shall conform to all Local, State and Federal requirements.
