The City of Arcadia Development Services Department requests written responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) for selection of On-Call Engineering Consultant(s) to provide engineering design services for City of Arcadia Capital Improvement Projects. The Engineering Consultant(s) will be responsible for providing engineering design and survey services for various Capital Improvement Projects including, but not limited to, street rehabilitations, street widenings, traffic signal systems, sidewalks, bike routes, and complete streets projects. The City of Arcadia anticipates selecting at least three firms to provide consulting services on an on-call basis, and that each firm will subsequently be asked to prepare proposals for individual projects. For larger, more complex projects, a separate formal Request for Proposals process will be used to select a consultant. The term of the initial contract would be for three years, with the option for renewal for another two years at the end of the initial term.
