Janitorial services are currently required for the El Dorado Irrigation District Headquarters Building for a period of one year, with up to two optional one year extensions for a total of 3 years. Warehouse and Auto Shop Offices are located at 2890 Mosquito Rd. Cleaning services for all buildings at all times must be done between the hours of 6 PM and 6 AM Monday - Friday and anytime during weekends and EID Holidays. Price must be stated as a flat monthly fee. EID requests net 30-day terms on all invoices. El Dorado Irrigation District (District), an irrigation special district organized and existing under the California Irrigation District Law (Water Code 20500, et seq.) and authorizing statutes (Water Code 22975, et seq.), hereby gives notice that it is now accepting bids for Janitorial Services at District Headquarters for a period of one year from award date, with two optional one year extensions for a total of up to three possible years. This Request for Bid (RFB), including its specifications and attachments, establishes the entire requirements for this procurement. Bids not received by the deadline will be rejected. Please advise the Buyer Andreea Miron well in advance of the optional job walk meeting if you need special accommodations. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate your needs. Submission of a signed WAIVER AND GENERAL RELEASE FOR ACCESS TO EL DORADO IRRIGATION DISTRICT PROPERTY IS REQUIRED prior to the job walk. All who attend the optional pre-proposal meeting and job walk will be required to provide their own personal transportation to and from the site. The District may also issue addenda to modify the RFB as deemed advisable by the District. All such addenda shall be part of this RFB and binding upon each Bidder. The District may, upon inquiry, orally direct a firm's attention to specific provisions of the RFB which cover the subject of the inquiry. However, all supplemental information provided by the District during the RFB process shall not be binding unless communicated by formal written addenda. All addenda will be posted on the District's portal (Procurement and Contracts | El Dorado Irrigation District (portal)). Each Bidder is solely responsible for obtaining all addenda posted on the Districts portal. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to re-issue this RFB. The District reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder who previously failed to perform adequately for the District or any other governmental agency. The District may waive any minor informalities or irregularities in any Bid that are immaterial and inconsequential in nature. The District reserves the right to request additional written or oral information from Bidders to obtain clarification of their Bids.
