Site work for a water / sewer project in Birch Hills, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to restore the proper flow of stormwater and spring runoff in the 5th Street ditch so as to not cause bottlenecks and potential flooding of property during heavy moisture events. The Town of Birch Hills requests a quote from your company to do the following work: Remove excess accumulation of silt, gravel and organic matter in the west side ditch of 5th Street from #93 5th Street to the corner of Simpson Avenue and just north of Ward Road then heading east on the access road 50 yards. The ditches should be restored to approximately just below the level of the bottom of the existing culverts. Grade levels should be taken to ensure that the finished project will drain properly along the entire length and exit down the east access road ditch. The ditch shall be smoothed along the entire length of the project and be left aesthetically pleasing for residents. Any excess material must be removed from the site and disposed of by the contractor. Contractor is responsible for traffic control and signage and utility locates and must follow all standard safety protocols for the contractor, municipal employees and residents.
