Site work for an educational facility in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.

The University of Virginia (University or UVA) invites highly qualified environmental graphic design firms to submit a Letter of Interest and associated supporting materials in consideration for the development of a Grounds Wide Signage and Wayfinding System that will serve as an update to the 2000 Exterior Signage Standards Manual. The geographical extent of this Project is the academic area of Grounds, not UVA Health (which will continue to update and manage its own system). As of May 10, 2024, per owner, a design team has been identified. Per owner, this is really not a construction project. It is more of a study resulting in a setting of the signage standards going forward. So, there is no contractor, bidding, or construction. The awarded firm was awarded a contract titled, “Exterior System Strategy and Guidelines” and is currently working on that. There may be additional contracts to follow but they are presently not identified.
