Site work for a water / sewer project in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids will be received by the Mahanoy Township Supervisors, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania for the 2022 New Boston Stormwater Improvement Project. Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be completed by November 12, 2022. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment, labor and materials for, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Removal/ replacement of existing storm inlets (3) and 15" storm water pipe (230 lf), installation of end section, vegetative swale (420 lf) and associated restoration. The work location is more specifically identified in the project manual/bid documents and project drawings. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. All materials and work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 in place at the time of bid submission unless otherwise specified. Mahanoy Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. Mahanoy Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received.
