PoP: 08/24/2022 - 10/08/2022 Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price 3 Place of Performance: 1600 CAPITOL AVENUE OMAHA, NE 68102-4970 Estimated Price Range The estimated price range for the Project is less than $25,000.00.. SUMMARY OF WORK The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, material, equipment, and supervision to apply a silane/siloxane penetrating water repellent treatment to select concrete sidewalks around the Edward Zorinsky Federal building at 1616 Capitol Avenue, Omaha NE. SECTION: CONTRACT AUTHORITY A. Contracting Officer (CO). The CO has the responsibility for the administration of this contract. The CO alone, without delegation, is authorized to take action on behalf of the Government to amend, modify or deviate from the contract terms, conditions, requirements, specifications, details and/or delivery schedules. However, the CO may delegate certain other responsibilities to authorized Government representatives. B. Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The COR shall be appointed by letter from the CO. The CO uses CORs are the primary Government representatives for the administration of the contract. CORs shall have proper training and experience in inspecting contracts, but do not have the authority to modify the contract. SECTION: REQUIREMENTS Contractors shall visit the site and perform a thorough site inspection. The contractor shall inspect the site to become familiar with the existing conditions relating to the work to be performed and the difficulties and restrictions to the work to be performed. The contractor shall notify the CO/COR of any conditions that prevent the suitable completion of these requirements. All work shall be performed in accordance with attached specifications. Provide and submit a Pandemic Plan, ensuring all work performed in accordance with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Guidelines, to the COR for acceptance. The Pandemic Plan Review Checklist is available upon request. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. CLIN 1: Seal 8000 sf of Select Concrete Sidewalks: a. Preparation: i. Thoroughly clean sidewalks of all dirt, laitance, contaminants, oil, existing coatings, or membrane curing compounds before application. b. Application: i. Apply L&M Aquapel water repellent treatment (or approved equal) per manufactures recommendations. Properly destroy or return documents when no longer needed. Page 2 of 6 ii. Water repellant shall be a low VOC (<10 g/L) odorless, silane/siloxane blend that meets the following characteristics. 1. NCHRP 244 Series II, Water: 85% 2. NCHRP 244 Series II, Chloride: 84% 3. Depth of Penetration: 2-6 mm c. Provide pedestrian control to keep foot traffic off of the treated areas until sealer is dry. d. Areas to be identified after award. 2. CLIN 2: Provide a Price per SF for additional sealing per CLIN 1. SECTION: SUPPLIES, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT. Materials, supplies and equipment used shall be commercially available products of reputable manufacturer or suppliers and shall be approved by the COR prior to starting the work. The contractor shall not use any material which the COR determines would be unsuitable for any purpose. The contractor shall provide submittals for all project equipment and material, for approval prior to execution of any work. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All work shall be completed within (45) calendar days of notice to proceed.
