Hamilton County, Tennessee Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA) 1250 Market Street, Suite 3050 Chattanooga, TN 37402-2713 Project 20-340 (HWT101)/Soddy Daisy EQ Basin and Pump Station Hamilton County Water and Wastewater Treatment Authority (WWTA) 1250 Market Street, Suite 3050 Chattanooga, TN 37402 SEPARATE sealed BIDS for the WWTA Contract to build a 3 million gallon prestressed concrete EQ basin and associated pump station, including the site work, yard piping, and controls, and any other items necessary or convenient to satisfactorily complete the construction. The contract entails the construction of a 3 MG EQ basin, pump station, connections to existing pump station, new gravity and pressure piping, site improvements, electrical and controls, and a diversion structure within the Soddy Daisy Industrial Park. The contract shall be a Lump Sum Contract for a complete, functional facility. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bid openings will be held at the Development Resource Center, 1250 Market St., Room 1A. Any interested proposer, or member of the public, may attend the scheduled bid opening. Bid openings will begin ten (10) minutes after the listed bid submission deadline. Preliminary pricing will be read aloud for any vendor submission received prior to the listed deadline, with each vendor identified by name. Official Notification of Award, including bid tab, will be released once the solicitation has gone through evaluation and recommendation of award. No bids will be received or accepted after the above specified time and will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the bidder. The bidding Contractor must be licensed in appropriate classification before such bid will be considered and shall comply with applicable codes, laws and regulations. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or reject any or all bids. Hamilton County Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) procedures will be part of bid evaluation.
