Renovation of a municipal facility in Swanquarter, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to make the purchase which will be in the best interest of the County. Proposed Date of Award September 9, 2022 All questions shall be received no later than September 5, 2022. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Provide a timeline of milestones from the beginning to the end of this project. We would like to have this project completed by Spring 2023. General: 1. Provide and install (2) new JCI/York GVC3M1B5GK4L60AF222BF2ADG2 40-Ton (or equivalent) rooftop units and map them into the existing Metasys Control system. 2. Demo the existing (2) Carrier RTU's including disconnecting power, control wiring, and remove refrigerant- JCI shall dispose of used refrigerant 3. Disconnect and secure for reconnection the existing duct smoke detector interlock wiring 4. Provide crane and rigging services as required to safely remove the old unit and lift new RTU curb adapter and the new GVC3M RTU's- JCI shall dispose of existing RTU. 5. Set and install new curb adapters and new RTU's 6. Demo and secure for reconnection the RTU electrical feed 7. Replace circuit breaker in panelboard with new 150-amp circuit breaker 8. Install new 200-amp, NEMA 3R disconnect switch and wire up unit. 9. Ancillary work: re-work / mount ( 3/4 ) / PVC conduit and with 120-volt GFCI on both units 10. Reconnect duct smoke detector interlock wiring after RTU installation 11. Perform factory startup on the RTU's.
