This project consists of all work associated with the lump sum and unit price bid for purchase and installation of 2,200 KW, 12.47 KV generator with 24-hour fuel tank at the City Water Treatment Plant, automatic transfer controller to switch power sources among the two existing Oncor substations and the emergency generator (the controls for the existing 15 KV switchboards will be modified to allow automatic operation), connection of the generator and automatic transfer controller to the plant control system to provide the operator with status information and allow the plant equipment operations to be coordinated with power source transfers. Project shall include all necessary labor, materials, and testing in accordance with the plans and specifications. Each respondent shall identify its bid on the outside of the envelope by writing the words: Enclosed Bid Respondent hereby agrees to commence the work on the above project on a date to be specified in a written "Notice to Proceed" of the City and to substantially complete the Base Bid project within four-hundred (400) CONSECUTIVE CALENDAR DAYS The opinion of probable construction cost (OPCC) for the Base Bid of this project is approximately $1,300,000 to $1,400,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
