Mental Health Jail Diversion Center Renovation Project The deadline for receipt of all questions is 12:00 p.m., CST, Tuesday, January 31, 2023. After this deadline, all questions and responses will be posted electronically. All questions must be submitted in writing and directed to Elizabeth Pietzsch, CPCM, Senior Contracts Administrator, via fax at 817-884-2629 or, if unable to fax, email to BidQuestions-RSVP@tarrantcounty.com. Description - This project includes interior renovation of selected areas as indicated on the drawings, the addition of a new 2-car parking garage, with storage room, office and restroom. Interior renovation scope includes, but is not limited to, conversion of first and second floor bathrooms to offices, remodeling of a second floor laundry to an office, addition of partitions and a door to create a new office at the second floor, addition of doors in the first and second floor cross corridors, modification of the entry to the first floor kitchen, modifications as required for the addition power, water, drain line and dryer exhaust line for a second set of washer and dryer at the first floor laundry, removal of a door and enlargement of an opening at the first floor dining room, and room identification signage. The new parking garage scope includes, but is not limited to, demolition of an existing fence, removal of the concrete driveway, removal of the adjacent patio, construction of a new parking garage with load bearing CMU walls, steel beam roof framing, drilled pier foundation with structural slab on carton forms, PVC roof, overhead garage doors, unit heaters, LED lights, and related landscape and irrigation. At the north end of the main building, scope includes addition of a new fence and gate to enclose the patio, and salvage of an existing storage shed for return to the Owner.
