CONTRACT #2020 The Village of Pelham Manor proposes to install a new vertical platform lift to the exterior of the Pelham Manor Village Hall. The existing metal exit staircase shall also be replaced with a new handicap accessible landing and staircase. The contractor will be responsible to install all new works in accordance with the provided specifications and drawings. The plan calls for the installation of electrical and telephone wiring to be installed as part of this all-inclusive contract. Should bidders find any omissions, discrepancies or errors in the contract documents or should any bidder have doubt to the clarity of meaning of any written language, they should immediately notify the Village of Pelham Manor, and request an addendum or an RFI response. The deadline for submitting an RFI to the Village is 3:00pm October 8, 2022. The Village will answer all timely submitted RFIs by October 10, 2022. The Village reserves the right to make modifications to the plan in accordance with field conditions. Each bidder must deposit with their bid a certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a recognized Bonding Company, or a bid bond with a Bonding Company Licensed to do business in the State of New York, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Said deposit will be considered as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and furnish the necessary bonds and insurance for the work, if awarded to them, and will be forfeited to the Village of Pelham Manor within the specified time. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder pursuant to the provisions of the General Municipal Law.
